At Greendogs, we believe behaviour support should be guided by both science and compassion. Founded by Laura, a certified canine behaviour and welfare specialist, Greendogs helps dogs and their humans understand each other better through evidence-based, empathy-driven guidance.

Meet Laura

I’m Laura, a canine behaviour and welfare specialist with over 17 years’ experience helping dogs and people build calmer, happier relationships.
Before starting Greendogs, I worked at Dogs Trust as a Training and Behaviour Advisor, where I led behaviour assessments, staff training, enrichment programmes, and post-adoption support.

Now, through Greendogs, I bring that expertise directly to pet owners who want to do right by their dogs — not just train them, but truly understand them.

Backed by 17 years at Dogs Trust and over 23 years of total experience, I founded Green Dogs to build on my commitment to improving animal welfare standards.

My Approach

Every dog is an individual — with emotions, experiences, and needs that deserve respect. My work blends behavioural science, communication studies, and compassion to help you understand why your dog behaves a certain way, not just how to manage it. No quick fixes. No judgment. Just clear, science-backed guidance that restores calm, trust, and confidence for both ends of the lead.

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet signals — the subtle shifts in posture, the flicker of uncertainty, the joy that blooms when a dog feels truly safe. Behaviour isn’t about control — it’s about connection. Every dog deserves to be seen, understood, and supported with kindness.
